Our teachers are spreading the word about STEAM far and wide. Recently one of our PE teachers, Coach Osorio, co-presented at the South Carolina Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance's annual conference. The team presented 3 ways to doing a field day at the elementary and middle school level. Coach Osorio shared how our PE department had created a STEAM experience in which students solved the problem of getting more students (of all abilities) involved in field day. Students solved this problem by creating their own all inclusive field day games.
