A new Big Lots opened on the West side of Spartanburg on Friday, November 17th. The store decided to move in and make a local impact at the same time. Big Lots invited the principals from two schools near the store, Westview Elementary School and Fairforest Middle School. Both schools received a $2,000 donation from the company. The Fairforest Middle School band and cheerleaders were also invited to the grand opening.
